Looking Up Work From Home Opportunities for Online Business Travel

There are so many people nowadays who count a lot on the Internet for different purposes. Some use the Web to communicate with their friends, relatives, and co-workers. Others go online to be updated on the latest happenings around them or to research about particular fields of interest. But there are also those who aim to be able to find from the Internet the best work from home opportunities for online business travel.

Online jobs and businesses are indeed very popular at present. Many people scour the Web to find for themselves earning opportunities without having to leave their homes. This is brought by the idea of convenience and a definitely wider range of chances to earn and be successful. If you are also looking for the best opportunity that you can get hold of, you probably will do well with searching for online business franchise opportunities. They are easy to find, own, and operate.

Here are some of the common methods of searching online business franchise opportunities:

1. Check out networking sites designed mainly for online jobs and businesses. Due to the esteemed system of franchising in the online business industry, a lot of ventures have focused on keeping tabs on the franchises that are available for purchase. They set up websites with listings of the franchises that people can buy. These listings are usually arranged per field or industry so people can immediately find what they are looking for. If you are new to searching for online business franchises, visiting such websites is advisable because they also showcase the details of the ventures, which will help you in deciding if you will buy it or not. You can find these websites all over the Web actually, so you need not be worried about how much time it will take you.

2. Consider referrals from social networking sites. Social networking sites are not just for referring a friend to another acquaintance. They are also more than just sharing gossips and anecdotes. They can very well enable you to find franchising opportunities because franchisors are known to advertise their businesses through social media.

Looking for online business franchise opportunities through social networking sites is really beneficial. For one, the franchising company may have their own Facebook page or Twitter account, which will make communicating with them easier. Another, you will be able to have preliminary assessment on how the company is received by the online industry. Often, you can just look at the quantity and quality of comments, likes, and followers in the company’s social networking account. Then, you will be able to know if the public’s general response is positive or not. This will also help when you determine if a business has good reputation or otherwise.

3. Find trusted results from search engines. Well, search engines seem to have the all-powerful nature of yielding the best kind of results for any type of query. Thus, when you really have no idea on the methods to search for online franchises, you can just go to Google and look them up. Then, Google will give you the list of websites you can check out or even the actual company names for work from home opportunities for online business travel.

Using search engines, especially Google, really helps because they can rank the websites based on relevance and usefulness. This means that if you get results from Google, you can easily check which of the sites are good to visit. The higher the rank is, the better the site. This will not only cut your search shorter than expected, you will also have more peace of mind knowing that the sites you will be visiting are already reviewed by Web experts and are deemed as trusted in sharing information.

At present, there is no denying that the power of the Internet has indeed surpassed everybody’s expectations. Now, you can even find work from home opportunities for online business travel with only an Internet connection. But you must always remember that the Web also has its limits and security should never be taken for granted. Therefore, even with the help of the different methods for searching online business franchises, you still should be able to do your own investigation and evaluation if the venture you are trying to buy is of good quality.

Why You Should Think About Starting an Online Business

The internet has created many entrepreneurs across the globe.

Some people not having any experience, tech savvy, or any money have created online businesses that prosper.

There are lots of benefits of starting your own online business.

If you’re someone who’s on the fence about starting your own business I think you should take some time to reflect on how it could change your life and the benefits are starting one.

My reason for starting an online business was not wanting to have to work for someone else.

I wanted to have freedom, flexibility with my time, and an opportunity to make money 24 hours a day.

If you’re someone who doesn’t like having to punch the clock this post is for you.

Today I wanted to discuss why you should start your own online business and the benefits it can offer.

Starting Your Online Business

Starting an online business isn’t as difficult as one might think.

You can get your business started with less than about $100.

You’ll need web hosting, a domain name, and an autoresponder.

Now just because you have these three things does not mean you’ll be well on your way to quitting your job, but it does mean that you have taken the necessary steps to creating an online business that can potentially allow you to quit your job somewhere down the line.

If you never get started then you’ll never have the opportunity to get yourself from where you are to where you want to go.

Benefits of an Online Business

1) Low Costs

As noted earlier to get started with your own online business, the costs are low compared to other ventures.

There are some business opportunities on the web that don’t even require you to have a website.

So people make a living online just building an email list and marketing various affiliate products or even their own.

It’s not like an offline business where you have rent, employees, inventory, and have to drive to every day.

With an online business you have the opportunity to work in the bed, the living room, your favorite coffee shop, etc.

Anywhere!

You can run your business from the power of your laptop and be profitable doing it with the right plan and work ethic.

2) You Control Your Income

One of the biggest reasons I wanted to start an online business was to be able to control my income.

With most jobs there is a cap on what you can make.

If it’s salary, you work at the mercy of your boss only to see the same pay every pay period.

It it’s by the hour, you only have a limited amount of hours you can work in a day.

With an online business it can work for you 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Who wouldn’t want that?

What you earn is solely based on YOU and your EFFORTS of creating the kind of business you want for yourself.

3. People Spend Money on the Internet

It’s been reported that consumers will spend about $327 Billion online in 2016.

That’s a huge amount of money and if you can tap into a small percentage of that you can make a decent living for yourself.

It’s all about finding your place on the web and carving out your own little niche.

Internet spending is estimated to account for 40% of all retail sales by 2020 and 84% of the world’s internet users now shop online.

People enjoy spending money from the comfort of their own home.

These are just a few of many benefits when it comes to a business online.

If you are looking to start your own online business do your research and figure out your niche.

There is money to be made on the internet, but it’s going to take some work.

If you are looking for a new way to make a living, freedom, more time to spend with family, or to quit your job then starting your own business could be the way to go.

It’s created new lives for countless others and you could be the next.

See you at the top.

Best Wishes!

Internet Marketing Business Essentials – Autoresponders

What is an autoresponder?

An autoresponder is a piece of software designed to send out emails automatically to any email address supplied to it; most commonly used in Internet Marketing and Email Marketing to follow up with your subscribers (i.e. people who opt-in to your mailing list).

How does an Autoresponder work?

Before anyone signs up to your list, you will need to write some follow-up email messages for your auto responder to send out.  Then, at predefined intervals, your autoresponder software will send out the email to your subscribers automatically.  No matter how many people subscribe to you, your messages will reach them all.

You can schedule pieces of information to go out one piece at a time, over several days, weeks, months or at whatever interval you wish – this can be useful for a number of reasons such as promoting upcoming events, splitting up larger chunks of info to keep your subscribers hungry, or – and this is the big one – done right, it can be used to build a relationship with that subscriber without you ever even having to write them an email direct.

How can an autoresponder help with your Internet Marketing Business?

When it comes to an Internet Marketing Business, an autoresponder is your best friend.  The Internet allows you to generate leads for your business 24/7; your website doesn’t shut up shop at 5pm because the whistle blew, it doesn’t need lunch breaks, and it doesn’t get sick when the big game is on TV.

If your site has traffic all day everyday, you need a way of reaching out to those people who take the time to subscribe to your site 24/7 too.

Your autoresponder can send out an instant welcome, or thank you, type message to your subscriber, and can follow-up with them at pre-defined intervals to help your subscribers get to know you, come to like you, and learn to trust you – the three key elements of turning subscribers into customers.

Converting Subscribers Into Customers

Considering it typically takes 7-12 touch points before a customer makes a decision to purchase something, it’s vital to your business that you spend the time and effort focusing on building up the relationship with your subscribers.

An autoresponder allows you to do this by staying in constant contact with them, as long as they stay subscribed, and by providing something of value (preferably for free, and at the very least something far more valuable than the price of the item), in each of those communications.

Internet Marketing Business Essentials – Content Syndication for Your Social Media Business

If you are building an Internet Marketing Business, you should be investing at least some of your time and effort into Social Media.  Without any doubt, Social Media is fast becoming THE traffic source, THE place to interact with your subscribers and customers.

Social Media platforms offer the perfect opportunity for getting your brand, your product, and your services in front of millions of interested eyes, and one of the best ways of doing this is through distribution of your own marketing content.

What Is Content

I consider content to be anything that you produce in a format that can be shared, including:

  • Videos
  • Articles
  • Blog Posts
  • Photographs
  • Documents (Word, PDF, PPT)
  • WebPages

If you can pass along a document, or the webpage address of something you produced, so can others – and the viral effect of content syndication will help explode your Internet Marketing Business exposure far beyond what you can do on your own.

What Is Content Syndication

Spreading your thoughts and products, your ideas and personality, in whatever format you captured it in, and getting others to help share your content with their friends, fans, followers, and lists is the essence of Content Syndication.

Social Media

Social Media is, by it’s very nature, social.  Vast communities of people already talking, sharing photos, links, videos, and funny stories with their friends and other groups of like-minded people they have connected with.

Imagine if some of that content being shared was yours, and that some of the like-minded people seeing your content wanted to learn more about you… Social Media platforms like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and a Blog make content sharing so easy that it’s becoming second nature to share anything and everything with the world.

If you take the time to build good relationships with people, do you think it’s likely they will be more willing to syndicate your content?  Of course they will.

Social Proof, What?

It’s a well known fact that people are far more likely to try something new, go watch a movie, read a book, or buy something that someone they know has already done – someone syndicating your content to their networks is like a personal endorsement, or recommendation, from them to you.  It’s like saying, “Hey I liked this article, I thought you might like it too, check it out!”

Social Proof I a powerful  tool in building an Internet Marketing Business making use of the ever-growing trend of Social Media communities.

Why Is Content Syndication Important For Your Social Media Business

As noted already, it’s becoming increasingly easy to share our content with whomever, which leads to one major problem – you’ll be fighting for viewing time with how many other people posting their content too?

Now, if you have a lot of like-minded people sharing the same piece of content in groups of people with similar interests, you know that particular piece will get noticed more.  People who don’t check it out the first time are more likely to when they see yet another friend post it as well – more people syndicating your content is a form of Social Proof.

Are You A Loser?

Consider this – if the competition to your Internet Marketing Business is using social media, and their content is springing up all over the place (and it’s good stuff, just like yours needs to be) – who do you think will be mopping up those eyes, those opt-ins, those buyers?

If you aren’t in the game, you can’t win at it.

Internet Marketing Business Essentials – Keyword Research

What Are Keywords?

Keywords simply refers to the word or phrase you type into a search engine in order to find pages relative to what you are looking for.

So, if I want to find out about keyword research, for example, I might type just the single word ‘keywords’ and run the search.

That’s going to give me a TON of results though and most won’t be what I want, so I would probably want to refine my search further and type in something more specific to what I’m looking for – in this case ‘keyword research’, or even more specific, ‘keyword research tools’.

The more specific your are in your search, the more relevant the pages returned should be.

Why Are Keywords Relevant?

At some point in your Internet Marketing Business you are going to need to get your webpages in front of the eyes of prospective buyers – this is where web traffic comes in. The more traffic that visits your page the more people you will potentially have subscribing to you, or buying whatever it is you are offering.

It makes sense that, all else being equal, the more traffic you get, the more subscribers you get, and the more sales you will get.

Keywords are relevant for two primary reasons:

1. The more specific the keyword phrase is that you optimize your website to attract, the more targeted the prospect is that will land on your site.

This is important because it increases the likelihood that the visitor will subscribe, and will eventually make a purchase.

2. Good keywords can give you far higher amounts of traffic from the search engines than you would otherwise get if you hadn’t optimized appropriately.

The more visitors you get, the more subscribers and sales you will generate.

Short and Long Tail Keyword Phrases

There are two types of keyword we need to be aware of:

Short Tail Keywords

Short tail means there aren’t many words in the search phrase, two or three at most – like in our examples above:

keywords

keyword research

keyword research tools

Long Tail Keywords

Following on from short tail, long tail means having more words in the search phrase, for example I might search for:

Keyword research tools review

What is the best keyword research tool

How do I know a good keyword phrase

How Do You Determine A Potentially Good Keyword?

Short tail keywords have a lot more competing pages because they will show up more often – note that our short tail phrases all appear in the long tail examples above.

The more words you add to your search, the less pages should be returned, indicating less competition for this specific phrase.

On the flip-side of competition, you will find that the search volume for long tail keyword phrases is lower than the search volume for short tail keyword phrases.

So what you need to look for is that middle ground where you are getting a high enough search volume with a low enough number of competing webpages that you can stake a claim in that space and get enough of that traffic coming to you to make the effort worth while pursuing.

Give Yourself A Fighting Chance

To give yourself a fighting chance, try to find keywords that get over two thousand global searches per month, that have less than about fifty thousand competing webpages. You can work with less searches and with higher competing pages, but the more outside of these you go, the more competitive it will get.

Business Essentials in the 21st Century

Professional business coaches, who work with small to medium-sized businesses, are frequently approached when business starts to fall off and sales start to slip. Much like a chiropractor, rarely does a person seek them out until they experience an acute pain. What people seldom realize is that pain is a symptom. The regrettable part, and as any good doctor will tell you as they are making their diagnosis, is that although pain is in fact a symptom, it is usually the last symptom. Sales’ dropping off is very painful for a business and sometimes if the trend continues for too long a time it can be fatal, but the question should be, why are sales falling off in the first place? It could be so many things but if I had to look at a business and speculate, the first thing I would ask is “what is the company doing with respect to their marketing and sales program.”

Notice I said “marketing and sales” and not “sales and marketing.” A sale comes after marketing. Marketing is everything that happens before the sale is made and after the sales is made. Some people will tell you that after the sale is made is when “service” begins and we can really get hung up on the semantics of this but from my perspective the sales process is just that; it is a process and it goes beyond the customer taking delivery. So let’s look at marketing. These days the rules have certainly changed. The internet, social networking, email, spamming, websites, apps, Smart phones, droids, and data bases are things that didn’t exist in our parent’s time and today they are indispensable. They are ever-present and ever-increasing in their importance in the way we speak and communicate with (and to) our customers.

These days if I speak to anyone that owns a business and their company doesn’t have a website, it is difficult or impossible for me to take them seriously. I ask myself; how could they expect anyone to take them seriously? Now, here’s the deal. I didn’t say they had to have a great website that did all the things they would or should hope it could do, they just needed to have a website. Any website, even a “Mickey Mouse” website is better than no website at all (More on that later). A website, simply announces to the world that you are in business and you take it seriously. (Remember that WWW thing?)

Consider the following: if you are thinking about going to a restaurant, if you are like many these days, you will be tempted to check out their website, you might to check out their daily specials, consider the menu, and this can be true for a restaurant that you visit regularly too. It is just the way it works. Many times you will take a pass on a restaurant simply because you couldn’t find their website or worse you found their website and it was difficult to navigate. “OOPs,” I guess that restaurant just lost your business at least for that night. That’s where a good website becomes really important. Once you drive people to the site, the next thing you are hoping to do is to do or say something on the website to drive business to your door.

Perhaps you should think of your website as an extension of your store (even if you don’t actually have a store, think of your business in terms of it being a store).

Ok, so I talk to you and I ask you what you do and you tell me, blah, blah, blah, and I say, “fine, let me check out your website (another way of saying I am interested and I would like to come to your store) and you say, “oh, I’m sorry but we don’t have a website.” How am I not to presume that you don’t have a store or you are simply not in the game?

Like Steven Covey says in his essential business treatise, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, begin with the first things first. The first thing today is having the best and most powerful website you can have; even if you only use it as an electronic brochure. Hey, it is 2011 not 1911 and that’s how it works, so get with the program.

Business Essentials – What’s in Your Office?

In this techno-savvy age, I am always surprised when I see a high-powered business person overwhelmed, running late and still using a regular cell phone. I’ll admit that when I was presented with the idea of switching to a Blackberry (TM) a few years ago, I bucked it. I also bucked having a dual monitor on my computer and a laptop with a VPN (virtual personal network). I was so used to working one way and was very efficient, so why change? But I urge you to think differently. The use of these three items has virtually changed my life.

Business Essential #1: PDA (personal digital assistant).

When I used to use a regular cell phone, I was chained to my office. I was afraid to leave except for necessary appointments as I would miss an important email. That was until I got a Blackberry (TM), which I now call my office on the road. In my car, at the grocery, in my kitchen while I am cooking, I can send and receive email. Most PDAs also have the capability of allowing you access to your Contacts, Calendar and the internet. So it is in essence a mini computer. Often I hear people say that they don’t want a PDA because they will never stop working or they will become a crack-berry. For me, using a PDA is quite the opposite. If I want to get out of the office, I grab my Blackberry and feel confident. It is a choice between being chained to your desk or being chained to your PDA. If you are a successful business person, being unavailable is not an option, so having the flexibility to be out of the office and out from behind your desk by using a PDA is not only liberating, it also keeps your stress level down as you don’t return to work with a full inbox.

Business Essential #2: Dual Monitors.

Hook a second monitor up to your computer. I resisted this as well, but once I got the additional monitor and started using it, I was sold. Picture this. You are drafting a memorandum and need to do research on the internet in order to get material for your document. Do you want to keep minimizing and maximizing your screen or do you want to have the internet up on one screen and your draft memo up on the other? You can also cut and paste from one monitor right into the other! Here is another example. You are working in two Excel spreadsheets and you need to analyze one against the other. What did I used to do? Print one (or sometimes both), use a ruler and do my comparison. Now I just have them both up, side by side on the two screens and viola. Easy, quick, done.

Business Essential #3: Laptop with a VPN (virtual personal network).

Get a laptop and have a VPN installed. That way, you can work anywhere with it being just like you are at the office. In essence, you can access and work on anything at home that you can do at work. If I want to get a jump start on my week on Sunday evening, I can. If I need to be at home for a delivery, it’s no big deal. It’s all about options. When I travel with my laptop/VPN, I use a wireless card and a car charger. Driving home for 10 hours last year after vacationing with the family – guess what I did? Worked and caught up on all of the business I missed while I was gone. This accomplished three things. First, it kept me from being a “passenger seat driver” which made my husband very happy. Second, it allowed me to catch up so I wasn’t stressed out upon my return on Monday morning; and third, it made those 10 hours fly by. These are the three business essentials I cannot live without. Now that you know about them, can you?
